Welcome on the website of the Ateliers d'Arts Plastiques et Appliqués de Villebois-Lavalette located in South Charente. Monique Jacquet, a painter an sculptress, opens her arts studio to students of all ages (adults, teenagers and children from 4 years old) and of all levels (beginners or experienced) from Tuesday to Saturday and from September to June. Monique Jacquet will teach you to draw, to sculpt and to paint. |

For those who can not come to regular lessons, three days courses are organised every holiday at Halloween, Christmas, on February and for Spring holidays. On July and August several five days courses are organised in Villebois-Lavalette and also a seven days course at the end of the summer, outside the region.
For those who failed at school or had a bad orientation, for those who are handicapped or those who are only not self confident, the Art Studio will give you the opportunity to express yourself freely, to play with colors, materials, volumes, the drawing or the black and white through figurative art or abstract art and will free your imagination.
For those who know how to draw, paint, or sculpt, the Studio will give you the possibility to improve yourself, to discover a new way of expression, to find the path from figurative art to abstract art or to play on common themes, as part of a ponctual exhibition for a music conservatory, a library or a hospital.
